Erica Penton
Co-Chair, 2026-2028
Erica is a Senior Practice Optimization Specialist and Registered Nurse with over 10 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience across ambulatory care, primary care, acute care, and post-acute settings. She specializes in aligning clinical and administrative workflows with systemwide best practices to drive efficiency, consistency, and exceptional patient experiences.
In her current role within Yale Medicine Administration, she partners with ambulatory clinics to optimize front-desk, clinical support, and provider workflows. She leads training and implementation of systemwide initiatives and serve as a trusted resource for continuous improvement, operational alignment, and sustainable practice transformation.
Beyond her professional work, she is a creative at heart. She sings in a band called “Flip The Tables” and perform in an acoustic duo, “Flipping Roses”. She enjoys crocheting and crafting, and she loves bringing creativity to life through event planning and staff engagement initiatives. She is a proud mom, wife, and dog-mom, and she values balance, connection, and community both personally and professionally.
She is an active member of Yale University’s LGBTQ Affinity Group and Women’s Working Network, and she is also a community member of The Daily Drip, an omni-channel media platform based in South Florida.
At the core of her work is a commitment to practice optimization and leadership coaching - empowering teams, developing confident leaders, and building sustainable systems that support both exceptional patient care and the people who deliver it.
Jury Torres

Professionally, Jury works as a Dermatology Coordinator at Yale University, where she is passionate about fostering collaboration, inclusion, and excellence in patient care. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and wife to her wonderful spouse, she understands the importance of creating welcoming and supportive spaces where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered to be their authentic selves. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, spending time with her 2 kids, and caring for her 14 chickens and 2 dogs. She looks forward to working alongside our members to celebrate, support, and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.
