LGBTQ Meet and Greet

You are cordially invited to join the leadership team from the LGBTQ Affinity Group for a Meet and Greet event on Thursday, September 29, 8:30-10:00am, at the Office of LGBTQ Resources (40A Ashmun Street). Have you ever wanted to come to one of our events but weren’t sure you would know anyone there? Have you ever had a question, comment, or concern that you wanted to share with the Affinity Group?  Just want to meet some other LGBTQ folks at Yale?  This is a chance for you to meet the leadership team (and each other) so you’ll always recognize a friendly face at any of our events or just around campus! Get to know who we are and what we do, both in the Affinity Group and at Yale. Coffee, tea, and pastries will be served. Please feel free to stop by for just 15 minutes or the full hour and a half. Please let us know if you will be able to attend, and we look forward to meeting you!

The University requests that managers and supervisors release staff members to attend Affinity Group events which occur during business hours, when operationally feasible.  This is pursuant to the Vice President of Human Resources & Administration’s January memo.*

Hello,
I am very much looking forward to finally meeting some of the LGBTQ affinity group members at this weekday breakfast. I am a fairly new employee at the University and I have not been able to attend some of the previous after-hours or weekend affinity group functions as I am also a commuter who lives in Norwalk and the parent of a middle schooler. Thank you so much for planning an event that will not cause me to have any additional personal scheduling stresses! See you there. ~Sandi

Hi,
I think I already RSVPed for the meet and greet tomorrow, and will make sure to stop by for a few minutes. Looking forward to meeting some of our campus community.
Cheers,
