Join us for a Town Hall event on the topic of diversity and inclusion in the workplace at Yale.

Learn about the state of diversity and inclusion at Yale from key leaders. Questions and topics to be addressed include:

  • What is the current state of diversity and inclusion at Yale for its employees? Where is there still room for improvement?
  • Of the four areas of proposed change that resulted from student activism in the fall, which, if any, will impact employees?
  • What does diversity mean to the leadership of Yale?
  • What resources are available to staff, faculty, and postdocs?

Q&A with panelists and a reception will follow a moderated conversation.

Introduction from Mike Peel, Vice President for Human Resources and Administration. Panelists include Carl Baum (Provost Advisory Committee on Resources for Students & Employees with Disabilities and Professor of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine), Marvin Chun (Professor of Psychology), Maria Trumpler (Director of the Office of LGBTQ Resources and Senior Lecturer of WGSS), Joan Channick (Deputy Title IX Coordinator and Associate Dean Yale School of Drama), Richard Bribiescas (Deputy Provost for Faculty Development and Diversity and Professor of Anthropology), and Valarie Stanley (Director of the Office for Equal Opportunity Programs).
